Your long response has a lot of emotion/bias, so I imagine you are a consultant. Ultimately, the market will decide, and technology reveals the gaps and the worth of the value proposition with big consulting. Once people become better informed and know better they will act accordingly. So the consulting industry, like every thing else, will have to stand up scrutiny...democratization through technology. It's just how capitalism works. If you present real value as a consultant, you'll be fine, if not, you'll fade away, be replaced or there will be a hybrid with AI for those who become progressive and embrace the future and not sulk or fight against it.
